What third-party ownership means
A client can own the website without owning every underlying tool. Fonts, stock images, plugins, themes, hosted platforms and software libraries remain governed by their licences. The handover identifies these dependencies where relevant so ownership is not confused with permission to redistribute third-party products.

Why the domain should stay under business control
The domain is the public address customers remember and search engines associate with the business. Wherever practical, the business should be the registrant and retain recovery access. Project Monet can be granted the limited access needed for configuration rather than becoming the permanent gatekeeper.

Maintenance is a service, not a lock-in
Optional maintenance can cover agreed updates, checks and support. Ending it does not erase the website or transfer ownership back to Project Monet. Any unpaid invoices, third-party renewals or services outside the maintenance scope are handled according to their agreements.

Do I own the free demo?+
No. The free demo is a protected concept preview. Usage and ownership rights apply only after the paid project, final payment and the relevant agreement or handover.
Can Project Monet keep my domain?+
The preferred setup is for the client to control the domain account. If temporary access is needed for configuration, the arrangement should be documented and recoverable by the client.
What happens if I cancel maintenance?+
Maintenance ends according to its notice and payment terms. The paid website remains the client's, and relevant access is handed over cleanly if it has not already been transferred.
Can I move to another developer later?+
Yes, subject to the technical limits and licences of the selected platform. The handover is designed to provide the agreed access and files another qualified developer would need.
