01
Overview
Siri AI availability depends on three things at once: hardware, software/language settings and region. Apple began the beta rollout on September 14, 2026, but not every Apple Intelligence device receives the same availability everywhere.
02
Supported software
Siri AI rolls out through iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27 and visionOS 27. A supported device still needs the current software and Apple Intelligence enabled.
03
Supported iPhones
Apple’s September release notes list iPhone Duo, iPhone Air, iPhone 16 models or later, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max among Siri AI/Apple Intelligence-supported iPhones.
04
Supported iPads
Apple lists iPad mini with A17 Pro and iPad models with M1 or later.
05
Supported Macs
Macs with M1 or later are supported, along with MacBook Neo with A18 Pro according to Apple’s current requirements.
06
Apple Vision Pro and Apple Watch
Apple Vision Pro is supported. Apple lists Apple Watch Series 9 or later, Apple Watch Ultra 2 or later and Apple Watch SE 3 when paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone; some Watch features require the iPhone nearby.
07
Languages
The Siri AI beta begins in English. Apple says French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish support is coming in October 2026. Broader Apple Intelligence language support should not be confused with Siri AI language availability: Siri AI itself has the narrower launch-language schedule.
08
European Union availability
Siri AI is not initially available in the EU on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS. Apple says Mac and Vision Pro users in the EU can access Siri AI when set to a supported language. Apple says it is working on a path forward for the restricted platforms but has not supplied a release date.
09
China availability
Apple says Siri AI and the other new Apple Intelligence features are not available in China while it works through regulatory requirements. No launch date has been announced.
10
Why Siri AI may not appear even on a supported device
A device can meet the hardware requirement and still lack Siri AI because of OS version, language, region, Apple Intelligence settings or staged beta rollout. Check all of these before assuming the device is unsupported.
11

- Install the relevant 27-series OS release.
- Enable Apple Intelligence.
- Use a currently supported Siri AI language.
- Confirm the region is eligible.
- Account for the fact that Siri AI is a beta rollout.

FAQ
Does iPhone 15 support Siri AI?
Apple specifically lists iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, not the standard iPhone 15 models, in its current Siri AI/Apple Intelligence compatibility notes.
Is Siri AI available in Europe?
Availability is split by platform. It is initially unavailable in the EU on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, while eligible Mac and Vision Pro users can access it with supported language settings.
When does Siri AI get more languages?
Apple says French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish are coming in October 2026. Treat that as Apple’s announced plan rather than a guarantee for every country on the same day.
