01

Overview

Meta One introduces several paid subscription tiers across Meta's ecosystem, but the prices and benefits are not identical for individuals, creators and businesses.

02

Meta One individual pricing

Meta's September 15 first-party launch lists two U.S. individual bundle plans:

  • Meta One Core — $7.99 per month
  • Meta One Premium — $19.99 per month

These are Meta's U.S. launch prices. Meta explicitly says plans, benefits, pricing and availability can vary by region, app and account.

03

What does Core include?

Core is the entry Meta One tier. Its main positioning is expanded access to Meta's AI capabilities plus premium benefits across apps such as Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.

An Instagram rollout observed immediately before the broader launch showed users being offered Meta One Core after reaching an AI-effects limit. That provides a concrete example of how Meta can use Core as an upgrade path for heavier AI creation.

04

What does Premium include?

Premium is the higher-priced individual tier at Meta's $19.99/month U.S. launch price. It provides a higher level of Meta One access and benefits than Core. Exact quotas and every entitlement should be checked in the live subscription interface because a stable universal numeric AI allowance was not verified.

05

Creator and business pricing

Meta's first-party U.S. launch lists four creator/business bundles: Essential starting at $14.99/month, Advanced at $49.99/month, Expert at $149/month and Max at $499/month. These offerings target creators and businesses rather than ordinary personal accounts.

Meta says Essential includes presence-management tools, more Meta Business Agent access, a verified badge and impersonation protection; Advanced adds scheduling, links in organic posts and Reels, exportable analytics, deeper insights and team access; Expert and Max provide the highest feature and agent-capacity levels. The $499 Max tier is the upper end, not the default creator price.

06

What remains free?

Meta says its core apps and baseline AI services remain free. Meta One therefore adds paid capacity and premium features rather than putting ordinary Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp access behind a subscription.

Standalone subscriptions also continue to exist, so Meta One is not necessarily the only paid option available to every account.

07

Is Meta One worth paying for?

For a casual user, the key question is whether the free AI and app features are already enough. Core becomes more relevant for people repeatedly hitting AI creation limits or valuing the bundle's premium app features.

Creators and businesses should compare the professional tier's actual benefits against their current Meta Verified or standalone subscriptions. Do not upgrade solely because a higher tier exists; check whether the features shown for your account solve a real workflow, visibility or support need.

08

Important pricing caveats

Do not assume US launch prices apply globally. Do not assume 'expanded AI usage' means unlimited AI. Do not assume every professional tier includes every reported creator/business benefit. Meta can vary availability by account, market and billing channel.
